So this dress is basically just a glorified nighty. And if you know me, you know I love that kind of situation. Ok to wear to bed and okay to wear in public? Sold. Definitely planning to over wear this in a few weeks on our mini vacation to Arizona...where I may or may not ride various motorcycles and eat way too many roadside garlic pistachios. Can't wait.

My love of all things western surfaces again...this time in the form of a bag with an actual saddle on it. I know. I can't get enough. I was probably an outlaw in a previous life. True story. Definitely excited about this belt situation too...and I'm not really a belt girl. I think it makes it harder to go to the bathroom. Let's not complicate things. But I stumbled upon a new vintage boutique (which awesomely looks like a trading post along the oregon trail inside) and saw this belt and the rest is history. Picked up these shorts last week too and they are rapidly becoming a staple...and they're definitely boyfriend approved. Let's just put it that way.

Embracing new things in life - like fashion sneakers and the likelihood of infinitely more plane rides - has become my reality as of late. Let's just say I'll be spending a whole lot more time in the passenger seat of a Cessna 172 while my pilot boyfriend (and doting photographer) flies us around to new places. We took these on our first trip together where upon landing we immediately found some mexican food to rival my San Diego favorites...a tough task indeed.
