This day, wearing this dress and this necklace, I acquired a necklace tan. Yeah. It happened. Luckily it's faded since then...and luckily Dave just happened to be driving the ATV past this particular section of Tonto forest as the sun was peeking through these trees just so. This long weekend was full of white russians, ATV traipsing, acoustic guitars, wood cabins built by hand, and probably the most epic BBQ I have ever witnessed. Fun fact - you're never too old for Smores.

It's finally warm enough to wear shorts as the sun goes down and even on into the night...one of the best feelings ever.Especially sweet while sipping on an organic chai mule and mackin' down some black bean quinoa sliders. Naturally my butt is falling out of said shorts throughout all of this. Butts are kind of a big deal this summer, I've accepted it. I have these shorts in 2 washes already and will probably attain like 5 more pairs before fall makes me break out my dark skinnies and oxfords again. Also, I dare you to rip these wedges off my feet. Seriously. Even though I have some new shoe additions coming soon thanks to my dutiful ebay stalking...no one's putting baby in a corner.
